Making cookies for math

We learned about reading a recipe and watching carefully for measurements and the difference between teaspoons and tablespoons.  We made a recipe called Apple Jack Cookies.  They don't end up looking beautiful, but they are quite tasty.  We made a regular version and a gluten free version.  Each cookie was split in half and the kids were given a taste of both kinds.  Over half of the class seemed to like the cookies.
